Michael McFadyen

Michael has played drums now for 10 years. He started early in high school and has never put down a set of sticks since. After achieving an A in Advanced Higher Music, he pursued his drumming into further education, going in to study at the Academy of Music and Sound Glasgow where he learned various techniques and skills, both practical and theoretical. After completing his HND course, he then moved onto to study his BA(hons) degree at the University of Wolverhampton, which he has now completed with a 2/1. Michael is thoroughly enjoying his time teaching at Carlton Studios after taking over from Kenny and a main point of motivation for him is passing on his knowledge to his students in hopes that they too would like to achieve their ambitions.
